Your support of our Healthcare Heroes this Easter means that the frontline defenders of health and well-being have the training and essential resources they need to do their jobs safely. Healthcare workers around the world are risking their lives to save others. They care for others, and you could care for them.

Your support could provide high-quality training and vital medical supplies for brave heroes like Asale and Mesi, whose hard work and unwavering dedication continues to support and uplift their communities.

When Asale's father passed away, it wasn't just the loss of a parent; it was the loss of the very foundation upon which her future was built. Despite her hard work and dedication to her studies, which had earned her an offer to pursue a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, she realised that affording her education would be impossible without her father’s support.

Her heartbreak was not just her own. Her community, already struggling with scarce resources and an urgent healthcare crisis, lost the potential of another skilled healer. But thanks to supporters like you, Asale is now well on her way to achieving her Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, and her dreams of bringing high-quality healthcare to mothers, children, and the elderly in her community will soon become a reality.

"When EMMS came into my life, a lot changed. I could pay for my school fees, I received a monthly allowance and transport was offered. My physical, social and psychological life has really changed. I am no longer thinking the way I used to. I am no longer crying the way I used to. I have light in my life and my appreciation will not stop.”

By making a donation of £25 today you could help provide support and study costs for people like Asale. You could help strengthen the local healthcare workforce, whilst giving more patients access to treatment and care.

Mesi is the eldest of six children, who were raised alone by their mother after their father passed away. The opportunities at her school in Malawi were limited due to tuition fees the family could ill-afford. Now married and a mother herself, Mesi was given the opportunity by supporters like you to start a Diploma in Clinical Medicine through our Healthcare Career Pathways, and is now in her second year.

“The college team has been treating me well from the day they picked me from my remote area. I am really changed. Yes,  transformed! I will graduate to be a role model to others and to help people by treating and diagnosing in my community.”

Join us in standing with healthcare heroes. Donate £48 today and you could fund Personal Protective Equipment for a student doctor like Mesi, providing a lifeline both for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others who so urgently need their expertise.

Because of supporters like you, Asale and Mesi now have the opportunity to pursue their lifelong dreams of becoming healthcare professionals. In turn, this will directly impact patients in underserved communities, providing them with the essential, compassionate care they desperately need. Your donations are helping transform lives, both for these future healthcare leaders and the communities they will serve.
